Santa Ana Pizzeria & Bistro: A Quaint Pizza Experience in Winnipeg

First time to this quaint pizza place. We came early (4pm). Just reopened the dining area, so don’t need a reservation right now. Food is excellent, top quality pizza and fresh toppings. Friendly staff. You gotta eat here!

The dining room has been closed for a while, so dine-in is pizza and salad only right now. Just enough time for dinner between a couple of appointments. Service was prompt and friendly.

I have ordered from here more than a couple of times and they have all been excellent except for once but it appears this was a one off. It is a heavier style of pizza so be aware. Little on the pricey side as well.

Great restaurant for pizza in St. Vital. Its a very small restaurant - so it fills up fast. Best to call ahead by 1-3 weeks and make a reservation if you want a specific date for your outing. We had an 11 inch woodfired pizza called the Roman. It had prosciutto, roma tomatoes, green olives and asiago. We also ordered a 15 inch Stone Baked Pizza - designed our own with pancetta, black olives, pineapple and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Both were excellent. Lots of choices on the menu for pizza lovers. They also had starters, pasta, and salad on their menu - though we didn't try any this time. Decent wine menu was available as well. The decor was quite nice - thought the table lights inside the bottles were interesting and worked well. Our server was friendly and took care of us very well. Takeout is available. Saw that they offer vegan and gluten free crusts as well. We will certainly go to this restaurant again to try more of their menu - this was our first time there.

Santa Ana pizzeria & bistro, delivering a more than picturesque pizza. Fluffy crust, plenty of cheese and toppings. But, lack of flavour. It’s the dough which lacks it. And the marinara sauce is not the best choice for the pizza. (Apologies, but it needs to have more of an impact. Maybe get a different sauce. Or improve it.) And the salad needs to be more quenching, it felt as though I was eating lettuce grown in the Sahara desert. Otherwise everything else is fair. And I may come back if these things change. Thank you. Tried their pizza last night for the first time... Ordered it using their website (which was super easy to do) for my wife to pick up while she was in town. Amazing pizza! Was thinking as I was eating it that I maybe have had as good, not likely better and not for a really long time! Will definitely be back!

Yesterday (Feb 22), my husband and I had our first experience at this place, and we LOVED it! We arrived without a reservation, and even though it was busy, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us - they were absolutely amazing. Being from Brazil, we know how hard it is to find pizza that matches the quality we’re used to back home… but we finally found it here (wood fired pizza )! We ordered the Margherita, and it was incredible. We truly enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend this place!

In my opinion, this pizzeria serves the best pizza in the world. The crust is incredibly tasty, with a perfect balance of crunch and chew.
